Calvary Baptist Church has a Christian College Scholarship Program to encourage and assist our students in attending a quality Christian college or university for at least one year where they will receive Biblical emphasis woven into their chosen course of study.
Eligible students must be active participating members of Calvary Baptist Church. Scholarships up to $1,200 per academic year may be awarded for up to 4 years to students working on their undergraduate studies except that the first year of on-campus studies will be increased three-fold to $3,600.
Scholarship applications must be received no later than March 31 prior to the academic school year for which the scholarship is requested. Please refer to the Scholarship Brochure for the full program criteria.
Calvary’s scholarships are subject to the student selecting a college or university whose doctrinal beliefs will not be in conflict with the doctrinal statement of Calvary Baptist Church. An approved school will emphasize being a Christ-centered academic community committed to changing the world by developing students in character, scholarship and leadership.
Interested students should download the Scholarship Brochure and First Year Application and review Calvary’s Articles of Faith (doctrinal statement). They should review the mission statement and Biblical beliefs of their school of preference to see if they will meet Calvary ‘s criteria.
Prior scholarship recipients should complete and submit the Continuing Student Application by March 31.
